Michael Liepman has been the National Association for Temple Administration (NATA) Executive Director since April 2015. Prior to that, he was in the field of synagogue administration for over twenty years serving as Executive Director in three congregations in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Michael has served on various boards including the NATA and NAASE Boards. Michael served as the Administrative Secretary on the NATA Board. He has also served in various capacities with NATA as a volunteer lay leader.
Prior to crossing over into the non-profit world, Michael worked in the hospitality industry at various hotels across the United States.
Michael’s home is in the San Francisco Bay Area where he has lived for most of his life, graduating from U.C. Berkeley with a B.S. in Business Administration. He is married and has three adult children.
